 We made the difficult decision not to attend the 4th round of the National Super Stock 1000 Championship at Thruxton.
As we entered the new season, we knew there was a shortfall in the budget we needed for the year.
With three rounds of the Championship being held in one month, with this round following the Donington round so closely and Thruxton being the furthest away venue, it was deemed to be to much of a drain on resources.
The money and effort saved could be better put to better use elsewhere.
Round 5 of the Championship takes place at Snetterton on the 19th 20th and 21st of this month and preparations are already underway.
The engine from Alex’ bike is up at YPE ltd in Edinburgh for a refresh and the team plan to attend Aintree on Saturday for a shake down before heading to the Norfolk circuit.
