Alex will contend his second round of the championship this weekend - 3rd - 5th August; when “The World Super Bike Championship” visits Brands Hatch.
He will hopefully be onboard his own bike.
Thanks to the efforts of YPE Alex engine has been put back into standard trim, we have unfortunately had to send the suspension away to be serviced, I would have much preferred to have a known package at this round but the service was over due and had to be carried out.
This will be a stunning weekend and might be Alex’ last chance to take part in this level of competition, so we are naturally hoping for a good result.
You can watch on TV and for those of you who do not have access to Sky, again you can spend £2.50 and see both races live OH! Both races!
Normally there is only one but as the Silverstone round was cancelled they are running two at this round so double the excitement.

If you chose this option you will also be able to see the Misano race, You wont see much of Alex in it, unless you know what you’re looking for or have a very sharp eye, what you will see is the very destructive crash as an R6 destroys itself about lap 8 of the race!

Support “WHITE LIGHTNING”!
Lincoln Electric, a multinational company and world leaders in the design, development and manufacture of Welding Equipment.
Their UK Head Quarters are based in Sheffield and a few weeks ago, on our way to Brands Hatch Alex got the chance to meet up with them.
Lincoln Electric founded in America back in 1895 are now a multinational company who have a huge motor sport programme in the states.
They are involved in Major Drag Racing, NASCAR, Truck Racing and Tractor Pulling.
Their slogan “Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday” has led to Lincoln Electric becoming the first choice for the motor sports Professional.
In this country Lincoln Electric commenced activities in 1932. Through growth and acquisitions over the years, it has now achieved a position as one of the market leaders in all aspects of the welding industry in the UK.
2007 sees a tentative return to the UK motorcycle race scene after supporting motorcycle road racer Karl Nicholson. Who had some good results in 2003. The eagle eyed among us will have noticed Lincoln Electric joined us at the beginning of the year, although this is first chance we have had to announce their support.

The “White Lighting” comes from some one inside the company, who by her own admission knew Zilch about racing (we are slowly changing that) After seeing a few pictures of Alex, nicknamed him “White Lightning”!
