 2003 also sees Alex make the move up to big bikes. With the help of E.P. Barrus and Metrakit, Alex will contend the Junior Racing Associations Formula 80 Championships on a Motorhispania RX 70.
As this is his first year in this type of racing, there are no Championship aspirations, however developing this new type of bike, will hopefully help in his future racing career.
As you can see this year is going to be another exciting year for us.

August kicked of at “The Three Sisters” racetrack just outside Wigan and with a big thanks to Sponsors BEK, Alex got his first real chance to race the Metrakit GP Bike.

First outing this month, took us to the newly formed L.C.R.R.C. (Low Capacity Road Race Club) This newly formed club caters for every thing under 50cc, Minimoto, Super Moto, Conti Cup UK & open 50cc GP.

Well, this was it. Alex chance to clinch the Championship with one round still to go. He did in fine style, in front of one of the men who made it possible, Jamie Masterman Head of Vehicle sales for E.P.BARRUS.
